Micro-Epsilon’s P200 displacement sensors series available from Bestech Australia

BESTECH Australia has introduced Micro-Epsilon’s P200 series of long range draw wire sensors for displacement measurements to its product line.

According to Bestech, the series P200 displacement sensors are designed for industrial applications in lift engineering, crane systems, forklifts and high bay warehouses. It can measure up to 50m, with measuring ranges of 30, 40 and 50m.

Micro-Epsilon’s P200 displacement sensors series is said to measure linear motion by transforming it into a change in resistance by rotation. The draw wire is composed of highly flexible stainless steel and is wound onto a drum with the aid of a long life spring motor.

Bestech says the linearity of the P200 series is ±0.01% FSO, which translates to ±5mm for the 50m version, and resolution is one sixth of a millimetre.

This draw wire displacement sensor is available in Australia and New Zealand from Bestech Australia.
