POWER Parameters say the Quadtech Guardian 6100 Plus Safety Analyzer is suitable for electrical and electronic products safety and compliance testing.
According to the company, the 6100 is appropriate for testing UL, CSA, IEC/EN and TUV requirements, in addition to other specifications.
The 6100 electrical safety and compliance tester is said to be suited to ATE applications with front panel lock-out and pass word control as well as a standard RS 232 interface with an optional IEEE 488 interface being available.
The company says the advantages of the Guardian 6100 Plus include the ability to test simultaneously for dielectric strength and ground bond, thus saving testing time.
Insulation resistance is measured in the range of 100 k? to 50 G?, and ground bond testing is conducted at 30 amps (or 40 amps with optional transformer). Dielectric strength testing can be conducted at voltages to 5000 volts AC or to 6000 volts DC.
