Temperature calibration laboratory bolsters operations

ECEFAST says it is the only company in Australia to operate a temperature calibration laboratory on top of manufacturing temperature probes and supplying thermocouple wires and accessories.

The business says the FastLab facility provides both on-site and laboratory calibration services.

The laboratory is based in the company’s Notting Hill factory, located near Monash University in Melbourne.

According to the manufacturer, the facility can certify base and rare metal thermocouples and RTDs as well as all matching instrumentation.

The lab can generate temperatures, with some limitations, between -196 and 1300 degrees Celsius to certify the instruments over their full calibrated range.

The developer says the measurements have low uncertainties and are suitable for most industrial clients.

The lab can also verify relative humidity and infrared temperature devices.
