Thermo Fisher Scientific to demonstrate new Niton XL2 Series alloy analyzers

THERMO Fisher Scientific says it will be demonstrating its new Niton XL2 Series at POWER-GEN International 2009, to be held from 8 to 10 December, Las Vegas, US.

According to the company, the newest member of its family of Thermo Scientific Niton handheld XRF alloy analyzers provide users with nondestructive analysis for PMI, alloy verification and analysis of trace alloy content in carbon steel for FAC modeling.

With the launch of the Niton XL2, Thermo Fisher Scientific now offers a range of products to the electric power generation industries to help eliminate any guesswork in verifying metal alloys for use in critical process systems.

The Niton XL2 analyzers are said to replace the Niton XLt and incorporates customizable menus for ease of use, multi-language options and a standard analytical range of more than 25 elements.
