POWER Parameters says the Hioki 3390 is a four channel, 500kS/s power analyzer suitable for variable speed vector control and frequency and fast Fourier transform (FFT) analysis.
According to the company, the power analyzer is suited to single, three-phase 3 wire and 4 wire systems, inverter input/output efficiency, solar and wind power energy measurement and sophisticated motor characteristic determination.
The company says the Hioki 3390 is suitable for a large suite of measurements including power, apparent power, reactive power, power factor and phase angle. Due to its mathematical functions, the 3390 is cabale of measuring parameters such as motor efficiency, slip and torque.
Up to four Hioki 3390 analyzers are said to be able to be connected to provide precisely synchronized measurements. Voltage is measured to 1500 volt and current via a range of current clamps with top ranges of 20, 50, 200 and 500 amps.
