HBM has released an absolute pressure transducer for use in general industrial applications requiring measuring ranges up to 3000 bar.
The P3IC is available in high accuracy classes from 0.1 to 0.2 and is based on a proven one-piece body design said to combine excellent measurement properties with industrial ruggedness.
The units are available as either as a P3ICP version with standard M12 connection technology or as a P3IC version with a fixed cable. It can also be supplied with an integrated PT100 resistance thermometer for external temperature compensation.
The transducers can be optionally connected in a six-wire configuration which, the company says, can provide users with additional certainty for signal transmissions over long cable lengths.
