FLUKE has announced the availability new firmware for its range of digital multimeters as a free-download on its website.
The firmware is an upgrade for the 8845A and 8846A 6.5 Digit Precision Multimeters and is said to deliver a range of measurement enhancements.
The company says these enhancements include a voltage reading rate increase up to 1,000 readings per second, an increased milliampere input range up to 400mA and a DCV:DCV ratio, allowing comparison of two DC voltage test points.
According to the manufacturer, the firmware also has new features, including dual measurement capabilities, power-up configuration storage and command emulation.
