FLIR Systems has released a range of handheld, infrared cameras for use in industrial and technical applications.
The T-series cameras feature imaging and measurement options, touch-screen navigation, an integrated digital camera and a lens with a 120 degree tilt range.
The company says the technology can be used to enhance quality, cut maintenance costs and reduce energy consumption. The cameras can overlay the infrared image over the visible image in real time for easier interpretation of the data.
According to the manufacturer, the units have a temperature measurement range from -20 to 350 degrees Celsius with an optional range to 1200 degrees. They also have automatic hot and cold spot identification and a zoom function.
The range has four versions. The T200 and T250 have a resolution of 200 by 150 while the T360 and T400 are 320 by 240 and refined measurement modes.
