TURCK has launched an integrated terminal chamber for its uprox+ sensor range, making them suitable for washdown environments, such as hygienic food and beverage applications.
The uprox+ sensors terminal chambers feature removable terminals in order for the sensors to be quickly mounted with screws or cage clamps.
According to TURCK, the chamber cover can be rotated through 180 degrees, allowing the user to select either a straight or 90 degree cable exit.
TURCK says the uprox+ line of factor one sensors can detect all metals at the same rated distance and also meet the hygienic requirements for food-safe materials. The sensors are available as 12, 18 and 30mm stainless steel barrels. They also come with a liquid crystal polymer front cap, which is impermeable to cleaning agents, disinfectants, high pressure and steam cleaning.
